Description
Description
Giacomo Casadio was a solitary man with a melancholic temperament, gifted with a great imagination and the talent of visionaries. He had few friends and at the age of forty-five he had never had a girlfriend. Until the day when at a town festival a gypsy crossed his path. Giacomo had noticed her for a long time: she was tall, had a slender body and black hair that reached her waist. He had always avoided her, inhibited by her arrogance; But that day the gypsy approached him, read his fortune in the palm of her hand and shortly after they got married. With them a family saga is born that will span two centuries of history. Half of his descendants will be blue-eyed, light-haired dreamers like Giacomo, while the other half will have the dark hair, black eyes, and sensitivity of Viollca. All of them will be protagonists of the intimate and epic story of a family indelibly marked by the dark and terrible prophecy that Viollca read in the letters on a stormy night.
